Petra Polices
Government
The policy decisions of Petra are determined by its Board of Directors, whose members are appointed by the Chair and current Board members. The primary responsibility of the Board of Directors is to represent Christ and Christ-like ideas in setting forth policies for Petra. The Board’s secondary responsibility is to fairly represent the families and teachers who participate in our workshops. Teachers at Petra function as independent contractors, working in agreement with the Petra Board. More details on how Petra operates may be found in the Petra by-laws.
Denial of Membership Statement
Because Petra is not funded publicly, and for the safety and protection of its membership, Petra reserves the right to deny membership to any applicant for any reason(s). Upon the decision by the Petra Board to deny membership, the Board will send a letter of denial, which may or may not list the reason(s) as to denial of membership.
Visitors
All visitors to Petra must contact the Petra Family Coordinator prior to the day of the visit. Visitors to the co-op must be in clean and modest attire.
